#NinaPH: Relief goods provided via local partner in Bicol
The Center for Disaster Preparedness appeals for donations whether in cash or in kind to meet relief and recovery needs of those communities affected by Typhoon Nina (Nock-Ten).
In kind donations will be coursed through our local partners Dios Mabalos Po Foundation and Simon of Cyrene who are doing relief initiatives in Tiwi & Polangui, Albay and Virac Catanduanes.
Cash donations can be deposited directly to Center for Disaster Preparedness bank accounts indicated in the shown poster below.
For assistance and acknowledgement, please contact our Humanitarian Preparedness and Response Program 24/7 hotlines: (+632) 565 1923 or (+63) 995 246 9121.
UPDATE: Two weeks after we launched our call for donations for Typhoon Nina-affected (Nock-ten) communities, we were able to dispatch relief boxes containing clothes, children's books and toys coursed through Dios Mabalos Po Foundation, a local disaster relief organization who are also doing relief efforts for Nina-stricken areas of Catanduanes, Camarines Sur and Albay.
We are immensely grateful to our partners and donors for making this happen! Receiving, sorting, and dispatching items that are most needed by our communities gave us a deeper sense of fulfillment and purpose. It also gave us a better understanding and appreciation of the systems that we have put in place relative to the implementation of activities that are within the mandate of our newest program, the Humanitarian Preparedness and Response.
Continue to support us, as we further strengthen and intensify our humanitarian interventions to affected and needy communities through your generous donations.
